Terriers Been Fighting

Recommended Posts

Two of my terriers have been fighting in the kennels and ones got quit a bit of swelling/ cuts to the lower jaw. Whats the best to give her to get the swelling down?

try and squeeze any puss out of the wounds then bathe with lukewarm salt water,, if you can get your hand on the purple spray for livestock wounds its good for the cuts will close over the open wound and help heal it do this every day a week  ATB

Cheers for the replies lads. They shouldnt have been kennelled together together just had other sheepdogs and stuff on heat. Wont happen again! Wounds look pretty bad and she isnt closing her jaw much atall but she is eating when i cut the meat up small enough. Typical that it happens my best bitch just before the lambing calls will start!

Gum sheld boxing gloves and head gaurd helps because they mustnt see the great out doors

Comedian mate! Another hardcore city nobed! Mate if theres one thing thes dogs do see enough of is the great outdoors as you call it! Theyre out all day on the farm not kennelled up as a lot of terriers and get dug often. The reason i ask about this swelling is because my dogs are bayers and dont usually get cut up that bad. If you havent got any advice dont post

now now dead eye don't start somethin you can't handle I might live in the city but il bet a do a lot more than 90 percent off the people on here, just stating the facts lad if your a terrier man you should already no this stuff I only leave silly comments when someone ask a silly question or sounds like an anti trying to gain some more imformation from us, that's not what I'm saying you are but If you don't like different people replieng don't post on an open forum asking the verry basics of the terrier world because you probably won't like some of the replies you wil get
