staffs riffraff 1,068
They are certainly getting more bold. I woke mid morning a couple of months ago when the chooks were all kicking off in the garden, sat up in bed, looked out of the window and saw a fox dragging a chicken up the garden. Never left the house s o fast in my life. Not sure who was more shocked - the fox looking up to see a pissed off, naked, screaming red head running straight for him - or the neighbour, who hearing the commotion came into the garden to find me standing there holding a stressed out chicken strategically to cover myself up ! what a lovely picture popped in to my head lol. I've been thinking about this for a bit now, anyone else seen all the cat missing photos about past couple years ? I'm wondering if it's certain foxes are preying on them as some areas there is posters of 3/4 cats missing in a few streets

walshie 2,804
I've kept a log and since the end of August, I've dispatched 14 in my garden. Seen a few more on CCTV. In the words of the late great Wyatt Earp..."Kill 'em all"
Attack Fell Terrier 864
I don't see the point in killing something if its not doing any harm. I've dug plenty of Charlie's and let them run on pre-ban. I'd only kill one if it is causing a serious problem.
LaraCroft 863
My neighbour swears he didn't take pics ! The one round here doesn't cause much problems - I found where he got in the garden and blocked it, and he hasn't been back since. Most of the ones I see out and about are mangy looking things. There is a p***y site a few miles away, that ditch the odd badly butchered carcass, so they tend to stick over that side of the valley.

Unfortunately the ones that come in my garden use it as a toilet, nick anything we may leave out, drive my dog nuts in the middle of the night and have given 2 of my dogs mange in the past.
