rabbitcatcher 1 287
Try roughneck spades they do a normal size and a small/micro type rc1 Quote Link to post
rob190364 2,594
that original one you put up should be banned, absolutely 100% not fit for any purpose, I tried one once and literally with one push it just bent in half and it wasn't even in hard ground. I reckon one of those plastic ones kids have in sand pits would be stronger than those! Quote Link to post
Sirius 1,391
You cant beat a proper spade or grafter. I have one with a carbon shaft and a smaller head its, light, strong and lasted me the last 10 years or so..... Here it is This grafter is OK, but I suspect will snap soon Quote Link to post

Swampy 147
Shite. Ive not tried them but theres a few who have with poor results.. There was something on here about a GENUINE army trenching tool that looked much stronger. Edited to say, its a wooden handled german one with a pick, looks quite strong. I've got both. Or rather I have the wooden handled one and my lad has the pressed metal one. I believe the wooden handled one is used by the dutch military aswell and is quite handy. My lads is really good................In sand only, its ok for camping and cutting turf out for fires etc but vey little else. Get yourself a proper grafter ideally an insulated one. you can't beat them. rgds Swampy Digger ning Quote Link to post
