but why not use the same dogs?? why breed away from the line? then buy in coursing dogs?? sorry it just dont make sense to me if ye had/have dogs that can do what ye want, why breed away then bring in new blood?? especially if ye are slowing down with the dogs, surely the same line a dogs would have been just as capable??

Absolutely..I've had what I would call shit dogs and some would say I still do lol..had several heaps of crap Red and one was actually called Red haha

I rehomed that dog called Red,it got a life on the sofa and just died last summer aged 13...the lad who had her actually bred some pups out of him and it bred some brilliant dog..the dog and i had different ideas about the game but the lad who got him killed 19 hares and a fox one night with him..when HE wanted to turn it on he was as good or better than nigh on anything so just goes to show that a duffer can produce quality pups lol..others I've had pts at various ages..
