Hahahaha Jenny long legs .........................we call them ''Daddy long legs''

i read somewhere, not sure how true it is,but jenny long legs are meant to have deadly poison, but no mouth or teeth to deliver it.

Who's afraid of the black widows??? Not me that's for sure

very dodgy,i knew a lads whos mrs got bananas from some store and there was a dodgy spider in amongst them.cant rememeber the type, but the folk in edin zoo said it could have made an adult very sick, and potentially kill a kid.

Its not a black widow. We have them all over the UK. They are known as false widow spiders - Steatoda nobilis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steatoda_nobilis There is no chance they will kill you unless you are alergic to the venom, much the same as wasps/bees/ants. If you get bitten you are likely to have swelling for 24 hours and at worst be sick.

That look's nothing like the one in my picture..why will people have been called in to catch them if they are harmless..

The male crab spider mates by holding its partner’s legs until she stops struggling, before tying her down.... sounds about right lmao
