Millet 4,497 Posted February 1, 2013 Report Share Posted February 1, 2013 My brother is working on a chemical plant in the north east and some expert's have been called in to trap and kill these spider's that must have come over in material's from somewhere in america..we can do without a outbreak of them in this country as one spider has enough venom to kill 10 people.. ..here is a picture of one he got on his mobile..scarey shite if you ask me.. They are known as false widow spiders - Steatoda nobilis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steatoda_nobilis There is no chance they will kill you unless you are alergic to the venom, much the same as wasps/bees/ants.
