Jimy1971 13
Thought it might be fun to start this thread. Season closed here tonight so I am looking for your stories etc. Personally I just got back into hunting last May after nearly 20 years away. Did a bit of pigeon shooting, then some vermin shoots with the local club. September came around and my brother asked me the million dollar question " Do u fancy coming for a shot at a few duck?" I was instantly addicted. First day out I was firing at ducks that I would have needed an anti aircraft gun to hit lol. As the season progressed my aim became better. My calling improved to no end,and I settled into decoying. I have to say that I am going to be a wildfowler for life. I set goals for myself early on to get myself a drake pintail before the end of the season and thank God I got 1 last weekend so it's being stuffed as I type. Counting down the days to September lol

remi700 99
Some good days some bad days but definity more good then bad this season. We done well at the geese early on and once the divers came in we some great shooting. Totted up the game book last night. 178 ducks and 70 geese for the season. Not a bad doo. Well done on the pintail. I've been trying to shoot one for years. Havn't even got to pull the trigger on one yet!
bell 3,606
A funny season for me. Not been out much for one reason and another......but too much rain and standing water gave the duck too much choice. Believe it or not have never shot a cock wigeon, we are inland and don't get any numbers. But my partner got a beauty on one flight. Had plenty of Greylag coming in and a good few Mallard and the odd Teal.
