woz 260
start with recall...let him wonder away..get his attention when he comes to you say his name and give him a small treat..cheap ham is ok..smallest piece you can get away with..only say his name when he has come to you not to call him at this stage... Casso 1,261
start with recall...let him wonder away..get his attention when he comes to you say his name and give him a small treat..cheap ham is ok..smallest piece you can get away with..only say his name when he has come to you not to call him at this stage... good advise, also give him the command Come when the dog is on the way to you, in time the sound of the word is associated with the action of movement, dont teach stay by using dominance or being imposing , use a desire for something to keep him in the stay in time ,in the mean time, PLAY its the best way to build trust and bond,
woz 260
forgot to add....no more than two minutes a day training...your pups brain is very small and stimulation will turn into your frustration.........enjoy the pup while its a pup...what you do now wil pay off in adult hood.....you will make mistakes everyone does i dont care who they are.........
