Purse Nets

Hi there, im new to the website and just need a bit of help.

 

We currently go ferretting most weekends but its hard work with hedgerows.

 

We are using 3ft Hemp purse nets, but these seem to snag on bramblems etc and we lose a few rabbitts.

 

Does anyone know where i can purchase smaller than 3ft nets with 5ply hemp

As said a long net , i work four foot nets and only go to three footers in brambles i wouldnt go any smaller

guy i ferret with got some nets made at 2 an half foot, cos there aint much room under some hedges we do, they look too small, but they work, they aint hemp tho

If you are not doing night work, and the long net is for daylight Ferreting, you may be better with two 25 yarders, and a couple of five yard stop nets.

Hi i use poke nets for awkward places they peg at each end and also do you use nylon nets or hemp nets as nylon tangles like hell if you use nylon i would cut them up and bin them and buy some of one of the lads of here but thats just my opinion
