HOW OLD ARE YOU BROTHER FOX TOMO. The Deerhoundx Greyhound ( STAGHOUND) , was our original dog breed bred for the colony. It was bred worker to worker with no other breeds added to the present time hence the 100+years time frame. Quote Link to post
Royston2 0 Posted July 20, 2007 Report Share Posted July 20, 2007 Hi maybe i shouldn`t of judged all but i have worked with 4 cattle dog crosses all extremely similar in there traits and all of which had a tendency to be sharp maybe it was just the select few i have been out with but they wasn`t of the same line but they where all so similar in style it was uncanny... Kye 77 Posted July 20, 2007 Report Share Posted July 20, 2007 Staghounds for me, all the way...i am looking into a Bull X Stag pup at the moment though,...just for lamping and stuff, so i dont have to knacker my biggers, faster dogs on gravel roads and fences etc... Have a real nice Saluki X from a mate that is great on hares, and thinking of putting my male Stag over her, in the future...he is bigger, stronger, great coat and awesome feet, so put to her, they should make great hare killers on the big plains of Kansas, and Wyoming...
