out for a shine lastnight with the pup

We had a night of rain and wind here lastnight and i was running low on meat for the ferret kits (there eating me out of house and home) so i took fiac out for a spin on some permission, and to be honest i was desparate to get out again also.

 

For only being 11 months old, i couldnt be happier with how she is doing, her strikes really good and she gets down on the bunnys well for being a big dog, she retreived all the rabbits live back to hand, some quiker than others but geting there, id like to say how well i have trained her but i think its just good breeding showing through .

 

We went out at 11:30 and ran 8 rabbits taking home 6, we could have ran more, but 6 will keep us going for a week or so , so that will do us for now, great to be back out lamping again even if it was only for a quik spin, roll on the season proper.

 

We were back in the truck and heading for home by 12:30 and just in time for last orders in the pub, even if i did get a few odd looks walking in soaking wet with all my gear on
