tegater 789
Being born in the early 60,s I never got into the Who, in their early days but loved them in the late 70,s and on. Just seen on the news that they (Daltry and Townsend ) are still going strong in the US and are about to make it back here again. Not bad when you are in you late 60's!! Daltry of course has always been into his field sports and particularly his fly fishing! Great band and glad they are still here!
LaraCroft 863
A bit scary to think they are nearly 70 years old - but their music was, and still is, awesome.

Bosun11 537
It's the Quadrophenia tour, with a new show done by Daltry. The last time they did this was the early 90's, with Billy Idol & PJ Proby acting out the parts, went to BHam for that one. Seen 'em around 5 times now mate, always been fantastic BUT this time... I really don't know... Last time I seen 'em, only about 5 years back, I looked at that giant backdrop, with pics from the past.. The Kids Are Alright etc... Fantastic BUT then looking down to see Michael Crawford & Townsend's attempts at his jumps... Sad, very very sad...

The Seeker 3,048
If you read his side of the story he registered his credit card on a child porn website to prove to someone how easy it was to do, when the Police took his computers they didn't find any evidence of activity on the site other than the registration and certainly no images were found to have been viewed or downloaded so he was give a caution. He said after it was a f*ckin stupid thing to have done.
scothunter 12,609
do you believe that?tbh thats the lamest excuse i ever heard. if a mate of mine said watch this, ill show you how easy is to access kiddy porn,my first response would be,how do you even know of such a site, and if you click on it ill punch you right in the f*****g face.also he wouldnt be my mate anymore.
The Seeker 3,048
Not saying I do 100% but then again he wasn't charged so not too sure really what the score is. If he was charged and convicted then that's a whole new ball game.....trust me if I thought he was a kiddy fiddler my Who collection would be smashed the f*ck up. Might be mixed up with someone else who done some similar thing, but did the OB not make an appointment to arrest/interview him (seizing his computer) giving him time to remove anything implicating........? Walks like a duck etc... or silly cnut?

Don't know enough about computers TBH but from the little I do know those computer Police investigation boys can tell what you've been doing on it even if you deleted everything. Attack Fell Terrier 864
Townsend does work with charities that help people who have been abused by nonces. Apparently the confusion over the nonce site was something to do with the work he does with the charity. He got nicked had all his computers and such like checked and it was proven he hadn't got anything "Glitterlike" on his comp, and there is ways of finding what's been on a computer even if things have been deleted. In this case I do believe Townsend, but as we all know shit sticks! Edited January 30, 2013 by Attack Fell Terrier
Outlaw Pete 2,224
Who's that white haired c**t who 'fixed things' ....? No! Not Him! Max Clifford I was thinking of. Bet PT could afford a bit of his help too. I can just imagine the phone calls: " Hullo, Max? It's Pete. Listen: I've got a spot of bother here ..... " " Hullo, Jim? Max. Pete's caught a bit of flak, mate. I need you to have a word with the Friday Morning boys ..... " " Now then, now then ..... " What goes round and round in Circles. Aside from PT's arm ....? Interesting, perhaps, for any of us who can manage to outlive him
