Standing Maize

Recommended Posts

I think decoying on maize is actually very easy its your set up that might not be working if you use one decoy pattern and they dont work change it around! Another thing is that you should use a flapper and a whirlie!!! - I also think that if they come in 5s and 10s that is better as you can concentrate on them and not a big huge load which may offer confusion!.Any what decoy pattern were you using and how many decoys! the biggist problem ive seen is people making there decoy patterns far to regimented ,ok sometimes they will drop in wotever but when they dont you need to think and look how pigeons feed and its not in a horse shoe or comma just just literally chuck the decoys out leaveing a few gap try to get the heads into the wind but not directly on every bird sometimes the rotary puts them of try a flapper or sometime just dcoys if the birds are about wait 30 mins let a few birds come in see how they react then if there flaring of change the pattern when its right maze can produce some huge bags
