Best Bits Of Kit ?

Recommended Posts

Been sitting here with a mate who dos'nt stalk ,and he was looking at some pics of a buck i shot today and he remarked how usefull the quad was, this got me thinking what apart from gun/scope were the 3 bits of kit i could not do without....

1..swaro binos.......if you cant see them you cant shoot them, crystal clear ,great in low light.

2..The quad...........on my own i just could not get some out,

3..Tri sticks...........new this year they give a fantastic solid rest ,take a bit of getting used to but rock solid.

Reserve..............sealskinz shooting gloves.......brilliant....does what it says on the tin....best gloves i've ever bought

Whats your could'nt do without.....??

Art the sealskinz you need are the shooting gloves, they have the finger and thumb that pull back ,if you cant find them pm me your details and i'l post you a pair, they are about £40. Had other waterproof gloves but just sweat up all the time, my hands were uncomfortably hot.Really pleased with these.

My other top three items would be:

1. My teckel a great little hunting companion, she often smells them before I see them, and if any thing goes wrong she finds em!

2. My new ridge line monsoon II smock what a brilliant bit of kit in foul weather ( although a little sweaty in warm weather but we don't get much of that in Scotland! )

3. A sturdy walking stick can get prity steep were I go so a third leg is handy!

Of coarse this does not include rifle, scope, binos etc as you ain't going stalking without them your just walking!
