Si, in reply to my topic, what type of poles do you use to shoot the woodies, would they be scared of bamboo ?

No mate,

 

It was bamboo that we used to decoy most of the woodys in our 3 or 4 pigeon shooting clips.

 

Just use thin poles and make sure the decoy sits on a branch facing its head into the wind.

 

Pigeons dont like to sit with the wind up their bottoms so face into the wind.
