the pup is far to young to be chasing. put a lead on it or you will feck it up.

The pup is both physically and mentally imature to be chasing and competing with other lurchers, that is what is making it yap, as others have told you, stop running it, stop all run playing with othe

Keep the pup on the lead when out with the other dog and forget about chasing anything for a few monthes now..just consentrate on some training work..she has obviously been over matched at such a youn

been doing the one on one off the lead, also walking them seperately sometimes, defo being kept off game for a while. As i said she wasn't intentionally put onto it as i'd never put anything under 10 months at least onto game. Usually wait until they are 1. Great advice, heres a pic of them...

i was told by an old wise man to get dogs use to a chase at as young age but only every now and again was to nip a toe or to on the rabbit and let the pup get it its an easy 1 and it wwill get them going then do them a few weeks later gets them use to the whole senario of catching with out a fuss then do the same but only 1 toe then so on gives a hole lot of convidence in the dog as its frowing any 1 else hear of this or put it into practice ?

You are in charge of the Pup matey if you can't keep it on the lead or work out where she may get a few run's then you are onto a no brainer..she can whine all day long in the garden that will not make any difference or contribute to a yapper..

. To true my lil bitch whine's all the time as soon as it gets dark for 1/2 hours on and of but soon as we out on the lamp she has never yapped at all my mates use to do it just left it for a couple of months and brought it on on its own and is fine now
