BIGLURKS 874 Posted January 28, 2013 Report Share Posted January 28, 2013 Could do with a little help taking ferreting back up next year and never really netted any of the holes cos its usally impossible with bushes and always used the dogs but thinking of taking up long netting in a hope they don't take too long too set up seen a few folk doing them at shows and not sure weather too make some or just buy them was going too buy the pegs from magnum trap and sheet netting from advance netting but unsure were too get a basket and which one how have use have found the best and easiest too handle that are for sale also not sure what sizes too buy use think I could get 200 yards into one basket or if iam better of getting 4 50 yard quick sets in 2 baskets or into one basket and does it become a pain in the ass when uve got 2 seprate nets in the same basket with tangling cos a lot of my holes are near fences and was thinking of 4z any help is appreciated thx Quote Link to post

But, four 50 yarders would be 400 yard of net. 44 magnum poles would be heavy too. If your gonna put a few nets in the same basket, I would go for a stackable pole job, like the Life Long Cumbrian design, this would keep everything nice, tight and tidy. Im lucky enough to have one and it will take a 50 and 2 25`s beautifully. If you dont fancy that route of sourcing baskets and such, NELS0N will sort you out with decent quicksets and baskets.
