mad al 146
thinking about it, that was the best rugby I've seen Wales play for about 40 years. Am right in thinking that France , who were initially the "favourites" for the title, ended up with the wooden spoon!!!
walshie 2,804
I'm not gloating, I'm just happy! So would I be. I've loved rugby since I started playing it at school when I was 11. I don't think in the past years I have ever felt quite so let down my my national side. That Farrell still is a c**t.
johnny boy68 11,726
You English lads have every right to feel gutted but you shouldn't feel broken, what Lancaster has done with the team needs to be applauded, he's taken what was basically a mish mash of huge ego's and turned them into a TEAM, apart from a few selections against Wales he's got most of England's problems sorted. It showed Saturday that in Internationals you need an out and out 7, England basically played with three 6's, Wood is a brilliant 6 but not a 8 imo and Croft isn't the pacy ball carrying 7 of a few seasons ago, Robshaw is a feckin work horse who didn't stop playing for the full minutes. In the backs I think they need to decide is it Care or Youngs at 9 and let one have a run of a few games in the team, I think they need to either have Manu or Barritt not both, especially with a great ball handler like Twelvetrees available, I'd put Brown at 15 as Goode just isn't really cutting it at Test level at least until Foden is fit again, Ashton isn't as potent now teams have worked him out and as always been suspect in defence imo, Simpson-Daniel is a far safer bet and has been playing some great rugby of late. We all blame refs when our teams lose but England didn't lose because of Walsh, they lost because the intesity of the game was too much for them at times and we all know a ref will mostly side with the team thats on top, admittadley he made a few mistakes like Ken Owens being off his feet for the first try but hey ho it happens suck it up and look forward to some great battles to come over the next few years. CYMRU AM BYTH !!!
