Tiercel 6,986
According to Mr Inferdel we need to win by 8 points to win the championship. But, don't count your chickens just yet, it will be a totally different attitude with the Sais next week. Lets just hope it is a good game, although I cant see it. Too much at stake. Malt 379
Can we beat England next week......Yes. Can we beat them by 15 points....... hopefully. Dont need to bet them by thy mate, victory by 8 will win it outright and 7 will win it on try's scored.. Going to be a tough, tough match and I wouldn't like to put a bet on the outcome.. I'm no good at maths. Englands points difference is 43, Wales is 29, so I make that 14.
Tiercel 6,986
Not a lot that can be said about the welsh performance today. It got us the win. Thats about it! They will need to go up three gears to beat England. It was a record game though...........The most amount of penalties ever awarded in a six nation game. Just read it was 18 and that is a world record for an international game. Thanks Mr Joubert. TC Do you think that's down to the ref T,,,? Or the poor performance from both teams,,, or a mixture of both,,, or possibly,, the sheer state the game has become technically ,,, look at scrums there's so many things to look for for a reff,,, going early,, props not binding correctly, going in to low,,ball not going in straight from the scruff half,,wich never happens,, the list is endless . The mother in law was here yesterday ,,, and trying to explain evry single rule,,, was a nightmare Tomo, Jobert is the same in every game, He just loves that attention, he is also imformous for getting behind one team and penalising the other team off the park. A ref should have a feel for a game there are so many infringments a player can make, if all refs reffed to the letter of the law all games would be like yesterdays. He made no attempt to take control of the game just gaves the players carte-blanche to do what they liked and blew that bloody whistle. The only sending off was the Welsh loose head 2 minutes before time. Given that each side had given away so many penalties you would have thought he would have tried to stop it earlier than that in the game. TC

When we're playing against England, if our 'for' tally increases, so does their 'against' tally. 15 points is the difference, every time we gain one, they loose one! Malt 379
Should be a great game next week lads! Wales haven't conceded a try since the Ireland match, if we keep defending the way we have been of late, we stand a very good chance, especially with England yet to score a try away from home.. The only thing that concerns me is giving penalties away in dangerous areas. I'm slightly buoyed by the fact that England didnt manage to breach an Italian defence at home when we smashed it apart when playing away in Rome, but previous results will go out of the window next weekend. Here's to a good match, and may the best team win!
johnny boy68 11,726
Feck me johnny ,,,lol,,, Poor game though wasn't it,,, I just thought I would clear things up. England were poor mate, can't see them being like that in Cardiff though. Its the beauty of the 6 nations, Wales v England in Cardiff, Championship decider, possible Grand Slam, I'm buzzing like a fridge for it already, the only thing to top it for me would be if we were going for the Slam. ......... CYMRU AM BYTH !!!
