gnasher16 30,046
Surely Stephen Hendry or the cycling geezer ( his name escapes me now ) are the greatest ever Scottish sportsman ..............My favorite would be little Benny Lynch but purely for success Hendry was 7 times world champion was he not
LaraCroft 863
Chris Hoy - been at the top for so many years - now that takes some work. David Wilkie - he visited our school once, and my sister got to sit on his lap and have her photo taken !

Swampy 147
With all this euphoria over Andy Murray who although being a tremendous tennis player I thing is a miserable tw*t it got me thinking just what other talent has Scotland produced that is recognised on the world stage? I'm not talking about some guy whos claim was to have scored a hatrick back in the 70s but a world renouned sports star. For me the greatest talent ever to come out of your side of the border is Colin McRae and Sir Jackie Stewart true legends Colin Macrae can't fly a feckin helicopter though eh? Scotsmen and sportsmanship are not normally words you see in the same context. Although there are one or two exceptions. Chris Patterson SRFU Chris Hoy. rgds Swampy Sceptical ning
