gouldy257 79 Posted January 27, 2013 Report Share Posted January 27, 2013 had this on a different topic, don't no if right people were seeing it lol hi all I've recently joined up on here i'm looking some advice please.. i enjoy being out and about outdoors i shoot and hunt with a local shoot which isn't very well organised ,, I would be very much interested in starting up my own shoot and would be great full for your expert opinions.... i have quite a bit of cover around where i live e.g rushy field good thick hedges in between,,plenty bogs with cover,, i do my pheasant hunting with a German pointer, information i'm looking for is what type of pheasants would suit me and wouldn't stray to far.. what would be best feeding for them. callumm 0 Posted January 28, 2013 Report Share Posted January 28, 2013 A good strain to go with is michigan blue backs very good bird easy to keep from wandering but will still need dogging back there good high flyers the adult birds are feed on the obvious wheat.the hens are good layers too Quote Link to post Share on other sites
