billy whizz 141
Tripe is % moisture with a very low protein level .... Absolutely no good for pups ... You are far better feeding chicken to young pus and as they get older feed fatty beef or a mix of the two ......... well must say my pups allways looked good on it but i fed a mix of chicken all so its pure cow stomach thats flesh so must be high in protein and its easily digested pups fatten quick as fook on it and chicken all the time can make pups ill not to mention its full of salmonella.... not much chance of yer dog getting salmonella mate dogs guts are allot different from ares. seen plenty of pups have the shits off chicken and seen fair few get constipated and cant shit on too much chicken ive found trip with other bits of meat the best and ive rarely ever cooked anything for my dogs from what ive seen if i could get trip cheap enough i would feed it solely fair play mate im not saying its tripe is bad or anything just i prefer chicken but would still feed tripe now and again but not too often makes my dogs stink lol. have you any pics of yer dogs pal get em up ATB

socks 32,253
There are a few posts by me way back showing a few different dogs that I had in and conditioned if somebody can be arsed to look I can't lol .... You can clearly see the difference in the before and after dogs and none of them were fed on tripe ...........
bunnys 1,228
chicken with bone in the mince source is not that great in itself its all bone and some cartlidge this can cause overload and one sarts to get the extra wist from the dogs rear end . tripe is a food that the dog or cat can get the max from it , and utilise it to the max fats and the likes plus the outer layer of offal flesh when from cattle is excellent , it just at times with growing welps may need more of it or a little fille such as brown bread , atb bunnys.
