jessdale 416
I suspect that there are very few qualified canine nutritionists that inhabit the hunting life forum. You should feed what suits you and your dogs, not what someone on here tells you. I feed the adult dogs on tripe and biscuit with no ill affects at all, but each to thier own. leegreen 2,219
Tripe is good food in a balanced diet, even for puppies. How one can say it is "no good for puppies" is just wrong. Maybe if it were fed only tripe the yes. Dogs/puppies love tripe and that must say something for it. It encourages good feeding habits and gives appetite. It is high in water and quite low in protein, but dogs gotta have water mun!
