3 and counting 22
My son was looking at model trains for his set up a while back. Turns out he ended up bidding on one that wasn't suitable for the set up he has. Retracted bid, then needed to rebid so went to starting bid. Ended up winning it. Trouble was it was in canada so had to pay loads on postage. As mentioned, you have entered a contract so need to follow it through to the end. Ended selling it at local carbooty for a lot less than I paid for it. Came out of his pocket money though.
derbylad1 293
You need to communicate, otherwise eBay don't like this. So just say the item had been sent and sorry for their error. Then that's it! It's all you need to do. I sell a lot on eBay and get it like you do. A dispute will occur, but you won't lose out. Just go along with things. The twat of a buyer is twat.
mrspinguu 35
I would send recorded or special delivery. Always. Shame people cannot be trusted.
BOLIO1 1,078
Respond only to paypal and give your side of the story. I recently made a purchase which was not delivered so I raised a dispute with paypal...sending them copies of emails that I had sent requesting clarification etc., which resulted in a full refund. Good luck.

So thats another way of proving it? Your word will count for more than theirs if they are new members.

Or if you wanted to be a right sneaky bum bag (im a deep thinker too lol) you could calculate the weight of the item and then make a fake package to weigh the same, send them the fake item posing as the real deal and then claim that they really are a right bunch of crazy people and then you get the item and the money. Completely immoral mind, but another perspective! lol

RubyTex 1,957
Bollocks to them foxtails it's their problem not yours. If the money is in your account, send the item first thing tomorrow 1st class recorded, done. If they refuse delivery at their end then it's up to paypal. If they're going to play silly buggers let Paypal sort it out, so the buyers son knows their paypal and ebay passwords and has access to their credit cards? Righto!
