I use my big dog when I am ferreting, if they are brought up doing it then they should be able to make themselves useful. mine are decent enough for the amount of ferreting they do although I dont do

Deerhound x greyhound,collie, x saluki greyhound. 8 month old and still very puppyish, 25''.

got agree with jj dont like the look of that dog it looks depressed not much definition to it

i must say ive got to agree with you . its very short in the neck and just not right to my eye

Do u now if the person he had that bitch from is havin any more litters

I think ferret333 has said she is still very young so would be suprised if the breeder would be doing another so soon. Just keep you ear to the ground something will come up from time to time.

its feet are abit flat gm dont think that puupy is well conditioned

totall lack of knowledge , john john , for what its worth that sapling has fabulious looking feet .good strong foot plenty substance to the pads ,and for what its worth another inch and a bit in it . looks to have a nice disposition to its temp knowledge odf deerhound types have the aloof looks about them its there nature . belting sapling and nice type , best of luck to the handler with it . AND AS FOR BEING conditioned at that animals age ids down right laughable he be still growing physically and mentally . atb bunnys.

my bitch collie/grey deer/hound x beddy grey.

2 year old my lamper and ferreter, i agree with whats been said about maturing, i believe she has matured now and by what a cracking dog shes turned out to be.

Deerhound crosses will have longer, flatter feet. Anyone that knows anything will know that, those that have seen very little but read a lot will not. Despite what people on here will tell you, small balled feet don't always make the fastest dogs. It's another example of the Internet and people trying to use it to compensate for lack of experience.
