allgame 0
if u have smart dogs it shouldnt be an issue how old they r u might want to think about getting a new dog if its not inteligent enough to tell a domestic pet to wild animal even somthing as silly and as hard as a patterdale should be able to tell the difference Quote Link to post

Stabs 3
This is a pure bull which I broke to ferrets when he was about 3 years old. It was a trial, but we got there. I could never trust my other one around them at all. She was alsways checking on me to see if I was looking I would always try and get youngsters around the ferrets if you can. It's so much easier that way. Quote Link to post
Greengrass 202
i've got my ferrets in a run most of the time , or at least for exercise part of the day and when the pup first saw them he was going mental, only natural i suppose , but i'm going to try the handling approach , taking turns holding each and letting them get a good smell at each other etc, he's only ten weeks so hopefully i'll get them broken to each other. cheers Greengrass Quote Link to post
