dytkos 17,800
Took one on from a mate of a mate many years ago. Once you slipped it took an age to get her back. Had my allotment broken into a few weeks later, took my other two lurchers but not this one. Found her wandering about nearby next morning when I went to walk them, the thieves obviously couldn't get her back either. So I shot it. No I didn't it went to a mate who had a farm and lived happily ever after Cheers, D. 1 Quote Link to post
bird 9,916
1st was beddyx whippetx grey, was a twat of a dog, deaf apart from dinner time, very hard mouth, more than any bullx that i had, never bring back, and liked to grab your hand ( to hard when playing) he got my size 10 few times but made no differnce. 2nd was a kelpiexcolliex grey bitch, was great hunter (day) but not that good in night. she only had 1 speed most times it was who got back to the edge 1st her or the rabbit in the lamp, where as Bryn my 1x collie x grey now as got that extra gear for any quarry that he uses when he as to. That just the working side, (Temp) well she was dangerous with anybody but me she went for my wife + son couple of times and nearly killed a little westie when out, at only 12 months old. got worse she went at 16 months old for a walk and never came back Quote Link to post
fitchet 788
Ive been quite lucky as I've only ever had one dog that was useless. A strong looking dog He would catch rabbits but would just stand and watch a hare even if one got up under his nose. It would chase deer to cover but it only ever had 1 and that was because it bounced off a fence. It only ever got ran on a few fox but it was an "arse grabber" would strike its tale or back but avoid the sharp end. He was very obediant and smart and i gave him away to someone who did agility after having a trip to the vets to make sure he wouldn't be siring any pups. Quote Link to post
Millet 4,497
From what i expect of a pooch i have only had 1 bad one that i bought it in at 8mth old..it was a saluki grey with a touch of bull in it and what a ignorant thick fooking animal it was..it may of been the fastest dog i have owned in a straight line but once it started to run some thing it would piss off on it's own sometimes out of sight and only come back to me when it was ready..sometime's it would be gone for 20min's and one time out lamping it totaly vanished..and i lost it for 24hr's and i thought good riddence but someone who knew me brought it back to me the next day.. i did perservere with him but he was never really a obedient dog..in the end i had to rehome him at around 2yr old after he broke toes on both front feet and one on the back.. He went to a good pet home where he may still be sleeping on someones sette.. Quote Link to post
