stubblebasher 150
Sure you know chancey no point acting he 5 year old. old head v young shoulders,,, could come down to how the ground goes .best a luck to both dogs :toast: As a neutral with no alliegence to either dog, it's Definately going to come down to the ground. Bulldozers owner hoping for rain says it all for me. The fact Lucas owner is willing to run his dog in bulldozers back garden, on ground he isn't used to, in an illegal country, speaks volumes for the guy. I tip my hat to you sir.... As for a rematch, if Lucas wins there won't be any point. It's obvious from reading on here bulldozer prefers the heavy stuff. Does this make him a superior dog? Does a race horse who likes the going heavy better than one who doesn't? The odds are stacked heavily in bulldozers favour, if he wins, proves nowt to me. Unless his owner has the same balls as the Lucas owner. Personally I can't see the match happening. Anyhow, that's my views and I don't mean to be disparaging to any of the owners or dogs, two fine animals worthy a place in anyone's kennel. Good luck to both, C'Mon Lucas A very good post that,to me a dog that can only show its best on deep sinky wet blank land isnt as superior as a dog that can act on any ground anywhere the same as a race horse, everything will be in the other dogs favour and thats why most of the nuetrals want lucas to be victorious The reason why bulldozer wants wet ground is not because he is better on it ,he loves top going and can run on the hard. The wet ground takes the edge off the dogs ,its more testing, but bulldozer can cope with it . Link to post

baw 4,360
That'll be a no then. Seems unfair to me, 2 dogs reputations on the line, one dog running in its comfort zone, the other doing all the traveling..... But hey, what do I know, I'm just a simple rabbit man. Enjoy your match boys, hope its a good un Link to post

Good luck to both, C'Mon Lucas you havent read up on lucas to much as gorger says he only comes into his own on the black stuff that what makes him a super dog. hes done plenty of running over the water so hes not giving bulldozer any advantage at all good luck to the 2 dogs. the best on the day will preval but surley it will have to be recorded to let us see these to great dog in the future. ps every IRISHMAN should be behind lucas aganist the english dog its like arkle v mill house. :toast: Edited January 25, 2013 by hounddog3 2 Link to post

PoshPikey 560
I hope both dogs are fully match fit and run at their best. Heavy going can show up a niggle in a dog that you might not notice on easy ground. Best of luck to both neither dog will lose respect here. It's going to be a great day - COME ON LUCAS! 2 Link to post
