With a forth-coming house move (4 in 5 years) this time I’m hoping it’s a stayer. :wallbash: I have just brought a second hand 8ft x 6ft timber “kennelâ€. It is separated off in side and both sides have access to the run (8ft x 8ft).

My question, I have a 6 month old Border, a 16 month Labrador, a 7 year old JR and a 5 month old bitch Cocker.

Who should I pair off, or should I.?? I have lived in a flat for the past 7 months so all the dogs have been together, should I separate the young ones from the Lab & JR. ??

Any advice welcome.

You haven't said what sex they all are: that might play a big part in your pairings! And if they aren't all the same sex, have you though what you'll do with in season bitches?

Logic dictates that the younger ones might like to live and play together, but it all depends on the dynamics of your pack, who is top dog, who is placid, etc etc.

Sorry bruv,

Other than the Cocker they are all dogs. Regarding the bitch I have no intention of breeding from her so will when the times right have her done. The two youngers are inseparable at this stage.
