CZshooter 0
I have a 4-16x50 nikko stirling nighteater 30mm tube on my .223, i never have problems with it, its great under the lamp and i have used it a bit on steel out to 350m but mostly under 200. The guy i lamp with a lot just got a .223 and put the 6-24x56 version with the 1 inch tube on his and its much the same as mine. Long story short i would recommend them at your budget Quote Link to post
cyclonebri1 8
I'd maybe look out for something a little older and more towards the quality end. It' amazing the scopes that crop up that have never been fitted to a gun. I'm thing Bushnel or Simmons rather than loopys or Schmits etc. Couple of months ago I found an unused Jap Tasco world class 6-24 x 50 if I recall, sat in a cabinet for 20 years, mine for a lot less than you have. That's now on my .223. Over magnification?, possibly but I too want it for some range shooting on top of other stuff. Quote Link to post
