What the bloody hell did we do before computers, i-Phones and bloody Apps!

Pappy why don't you just take your rifle and scope and .177 pellet and get out onto your permission and zero it at 30 metres as a starting point?

Then shoot a series of targets from 5 to 50 metres on,,,say 6 mag and see where your zero'd shot falls on each. Or start with zeroing at on the maximum mag power of the scope and work through the various mag power settings down to the lowest. That way you will see what is the optimum setting on your scope to calibrate the ladderscale reticle onto your shot trajectory.

And you get out practicing at the same time. Chairgun is very good, no question, but, to me, nothing beats getting out with your rifle and actually doing some shooting to iron out the bugs with practice.

Gotta be a lot more fun than fuckling about with a phone app! Hope you aren't offended at my opening tone. I'm an old school git who learned to shoot with his daddy's .22 rimmy and an ancient Webley .22 air rifle and a lot of practice.

All the best.
