Thanks for the advice and understand its hard to get trusted by guys. Well a bit about myself,I'm a builder from Surrey aged 32. Used to do a lot of ratting as a kid on my mates farm with my terriers,had Russell's and bull types. Got 2 Russell's at the moment. Have done quite a bit of shooting,pheasants and clay but much prefer the dogs. My missis family have kept lurchers for many years bull x's of late have been getting out with them but bit far from where I live. Going to get a bull x in the spring,i know a strong dog for first lurcher but kept strong dogs my whole life and got some help from her family but like I say would like some help/advice bit nearer too.
