You Know Your Getting Old

You know your getting old, When you get out of the high seat before its to dark to see just because there happens to be a minor blizzard in progress,

When the seat in front of the woodburner has more attraction than a cold,wet highseat,with a chance of a shot at fallow

When you curse that you left the handwarmers on the worktop ,next to the flask of coffee you made ,

When you convince yourself nothing was coming out anyway,

When you dont feel guilty about any of the above......................I am old .

 

 

 

 

PS did see four roe does on a walk round before i got up seat,they sat tight as a drum until i almost stumbled on them,then they were up & gone.We dont have many roe on this piece so i dont normally shoot them anyway ,nice to see though .Will b out again tomorrow ......if its not to cold !!
