coldweld 65
Wright a letter with recorded delivery ! You still have no proof with an email as you will not get an acknowlegment that it has been recived. The answer you have had is the normal response. if you are unhappy wright to the new PCC. i have just had a Variation back they told me Month but it only took two weeks. Quote Link to post
tegater 789
Here you go twotwothree firearms.licensing@derbyshire.pnn.police.uk Quote Link to post
tegater 789
They will confirm reciept of your forms and the fact that you will be ok when your ticket runs out. It makes me laugh with firms that still so fax in this day and age, as everything is done by email!! Original forms obviously need signing but in you case it will be ok Quote Link to post

cyclonebri1 8
"She", is very akward to deal with, I resorted to handing my forms in by hand, and even then "she" would not give me any form of receipt or aknowledgement that they had received them. Only my desire to get things through prevented me blowing a fuse. Don't expect any form of acknowledgement from Derbs Police. Inspite of that negativety, my derby area FA and Sg crts were back in just under a month inspite of the 8-12 weeks warning, that was late last yer Edited January 24, 2013 by cyclonebri1 Quote Link to post
TWOTWOTHREE 152
Tell me about it they have been hit and miss with efficiency and awkwardness over the last 15 years I've had dealing with them, its not a issue over receipt of getting my forms I had then recorded signed for delivery, its the fact that both the licences will expire well before they get dealt with,I've now emailed reminding them that the date of expiry is upon me and asked them to advise me,also faxed it,the ball is now in their court, the law is an ass and you can easily and inocently fall foul of it even with advice from the supposed authority, all in hand now Atb Quote Link to post

cyclonebri1 8
Over the last 30 years I have had the following issues with them; Firearms renewal returned with no ammo allowance. Shotgun cert renewed and all 3 guns "vanished" from the ticket. And after 15 years, they lost all trace of me ever having held a gun licence, due evidentally to them installing a new system. Only thing I can say is the grants and renewals etc have always been handled quickly, last 1 was late last year, late in the year that is. Edited January 26, 2013 by cyclonebri1 Quote Link to post
