Fox could of been hit in a vital by a shotgun pellet and died mainly as a result of that young dog could of found it not far in an earth and set about it with fox basicaly f****d anyway it's all possible think folk's are gonna say it's bullshit because you bigged the pup up abit like it had done the job in a few seconds etc my money's on a shotgun did that fox and terrier found it just inside the earth f****d though if it did happen either way still a good bit of experiance for it and bit of promise

this is a prime example for another spewed terrier at the age of 12months old . far to young in my opinion

thats how proper dogs enter now he knows what hes got he can hold him up... very pleasein to hear a young dog doin that these days

Out pheasant shooting with friends, brought 8 month old patterdale, fox ran to ground after being fired at, dog went to ground, could hear him fighting fox, they moved to near entrance 5ft away under root of tree, I knew he had fox killed, had no way of digging him out, we went on a bit down ditch, 10 minutes later him came out followed us down ditch, I said I'd go back to burrow and get some barbed wire to pull out dead fox, fox was dead at mouth of burrow, he had pulled him to entrance, delighted with him. I was hoping to hold him him off to a 18 months old for burrow work as many people advise that. Is he too young to be trying even thogh he killed a fox, he's being killing rats since 3 months old

not many terriers at that age will kill a fox ..............you could be on to something special there............obviously got some shot in it....
