Craig Fosse 286
Ghillies has put about everything on the money with what your teaching, another point, ask on here where you are someone might be willing to meet up and help you out, a good thing to do now is start judging distance too especially if your aiming to go into the hunting world, get one of those long real out 30m tape measures from b n q for a fiver and know exactly what distance your shooting at, then walk up with your standard pace and count ever step, when you know how far something is when your out and about see if you can guess how far that lap post is, walk up to it and see if your right.....u will get better with practice and it helps a hell of a lot, a range finder is just another pricey bit which you can get at a later date, Also if your anything like me paper targets get boring after a while, start printing off some pictures of rabbits or pigeons and aim for the head, it also gives you confidence to know that you can hit something and its not just a circle. Plinking targets are good to tho harder to see where your missing etc etc, it will also go along way to easing your excitement when you do eventually get something between your sites. I still to this day get excited and get that little bit of buck fever when I see something down my sites. Quote Link to post
Moel 18
Supersports are great, especially if it is a Brum made one. I've had one since I was 12 (only 20 years or so), totally reliable and mine will be off for another new spring and seals next week. Hope the rest lasts another 20 years of vermin bashing! £100 seems a fair price Moel Quote Link to post
