wullieh 53 Posted January 20, 2013 Report Share Posted January 20, 2013 one of my dogs has got a cough it started a few days ago the other dog shows no sign of it, I've brought them indoors out the cold now and she still eats and drinks but a bit more fussy where she would clear her bowl the first time now she eats half and goes back for the rest, she shown no other signs of Illness but with the cough and the belching she do it now make me wonder f she got something stick in her throat, what's the best way to get rid off kennel cough and how long do it last. thought about waiting till end of week and no improvement take her to the vet's Quote Link to post Share on other sites

hubbs 178 Posted January 21, 2013 Report Share Posted January 21, 2013 Do a search pal there's some good threads ! Two of mine had it passed within 14 days ! Cough medicine is supposed to help them ! I just let them ride it out ! As I heard nothing cures it just helps symptoms mine are fine and working a month on no probs ! Just keep a close eye on the dog though as there's lungworm becoming common and plus as you said could be something lodged, but I wouldn't think you would have a problem with seed this time of year in my opinion!
