Im helping my uncal jst now hes a part time keeper but i want to go full time.. Willing to do what ever it takes to become a keeper im not to fussed about goin to collage to learn and to become quilfied as long as i have the know how to do the job.. Well my uncal isnt given much advice at all... Dont think he wants me to give up being a mechanic.. But im not happy at my job ats why i want a change and love helpin with phesents and red deer where we gamekeep why do you ask dawn???? Quote Link to post
danw 1,748 Posted January 24, 2013 Report Share Posted January 24, 2013 I asked mate cause to be honest without either some real experience or college the chances of getting a full time keepering job are next to nothing with so many lads wanting a career in keeping you really have stand out from all the others I know for jobs that are piss poor that still had hundreds of applicants and many with years of experience, the job market is hard for keepers with many about to feel the pinch next year with rising food and poult costs causing yet more to fold. Anyway good luck but for now I should carry on with the spanners folks will always need mechanics but as far as I can see we keepers are a dieing breed. Atb Dan 1 Quote Link to post
