4 In One Stop End.

Been out today really enjoyed it in the snow found a load of holes I didn't no was there by following the foot prints. I ferreted one warren and the ferret stayed put so I had to dig 4 ft to it. Once through the ferrets came out, I put my arm up the tube and pulled the rabbit out then put the ferret back in, i could here more banging and a rabbit tryed to get out but struggled to get free of my ferret (baby face). So I pulled it out this happened again straight after but one bolted and my lurcher reggi came to the rescue and managed to catch it through so cover. All in all a good day.

a mate dug one out today pulled one out of the stopend and the one in front of it bolted, but he managed to grab it. his dad reckons he pulled 16 out of a stopend when he was a lad

We had an 8 once which I doubt will ever happen for us again, got 32 out of the burrow in total which was only a ten holer in the middle of a paddock. The place was like watership down when we first got on and nobody had touched them for years but its shit like everywhere else round here now

if this chap can get 32 out of a 10 holer i think 16 is a reasonable number. this would of been on his own farm so no one else was allowed to touch it and it would be 30+ years ago when there were less people at it

Mmmm. I think I would have to see it to believe it I guess. I'm not saying he didn't, just I think it may be a case of where in the country you are, what the land is like, etc. I'd be lucky to get 4 in a stop end, 16 would be incredible. But then, 20 is a good day out for me, but is only mediocre for some in the dales.
