Guest norseman
i know of a gun shop that sells muzzles i thought of getting one when i started out until someone made the point of losing your ferret and it not being able to feed or defend itself also. not everyone knows these things straight away. they have to be learned or passed on. but thats why we have locators the digs will keep ye fit, and are of coarse nerveracking at times. cant beat it. nice ferret by the way mate Quote Link to post

ferret100 47
If he is more of a hinderance than help, don't work him. Not at all a fan of muzzles either. Hybrids are no-where near as efficient as ferrets. Atb. Quote Link to post
scottish hare hunter 2,345
I hust thought of the muzzle after reading it on hear before. Not afraid of the spade atall. But when your diging 6 7 8 feet. Alot of time gets waisted when your supposed to be doing a turn geting rabbits off ground. Cheers to the lafs who gave me helpfull advice. And cheers. For comments on ferret. Quote Link to post
chris k 205
dont use a muzzle. At the end of the day if your hob meets something else down there (rat, stout ect) it has no way of defending itself with a muzzle on. Youll leave your hob a sitting duck Quote Link to post

Hybrids are no-where near as efficient as ferrets. Atb. Exactly, if he does you more harm why use him. 1/8-1/4 wild polecat can be an improvement. Everything more than 1/4 is not manageable most of the time. Quote Link to post
