Craig Fosse 286
Hi guys, I have owned an s200 for a little less than a year now and I have returned home to my place of birth in jersey in the Channel Islands, over here you need an FAC for an air rifle, so I was wondering, I use my s200 for hunting and instead of me going down the expensive route of getting a rim fire or such and such is there anyway to make my s200 more powerful?! Without altering the shot count or accuracy, I love my s200 and was just wondering if there is any other way, Kind regards Craig Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
You need more air to make the pellet travel faster, so you make it more powerful, the shot count goes down! So ina word, no! Best idea is to sell the S200 on the mainland and then buy an FAC rifle! Quote Link to post
Bendover 67
If you put the power up it will need more air to push the pellet faster, it will use more air. Better off getting something already at the power your fac allows with a bigger air res Quote Link to post
Craig Fosse 286
Problem ism love the s200 to much haha! How much of the shot count are we talking about? Quote Link to post
Bendover 67
I don't know the numbers on it but i know the s200/ Ultra/ brocock size air res doesn't give you a lot of room to play as it is. Im almost certain someone must have done it though. It is a great little rifle. Quote Link to post
Elliott 436
I'm sure Gary, or Festa on HLF, fitted a HW100 cylinder to his S200 to increase shot count. If you are able to uprate your S200 to FAC and shot count is the only issue I'm sure a Venom or A&M Cylinder would solve this for you. Best speak to Marksman on HLF or A&M directly, I'm sure they'll sort you out. I bet A&M could even do the work for you Here's Gary's video: Edited January 20, 2013 by Elliott Quote Link to post

Elliott 436
Sounds like a good route to look at, what's HLF ?? 'HLF' Hunting Life Forum. PM Marksman on here. Outline your requirements and he'll either be able to help you directly or put you onto A&M Gunsmiths.. I think he's Gary's brother too! Good luck Quote Link to post
