themightybuck 9
How do they compare with the heavy squad for sound suppression? I use an A-tec and while it is light and it does suppress the crack it is not as good as say the t8's. I would not want to hump one of the heavier moderators around the hill all day though! Hi, They are never going to suppress the same as a suppressors with twice or three times the volume. I tried one of my overbarrel modulars the other day with ten baffles, at 490grams it was rather heavy but the sound reduction was amazing, the 30-06 was well under the sound of a 22 magnum. themightybuck 9
The only complaint I have with my atec is that it screws directly onto the end of the barrel and that make my rifle 50 inches long which i don't mind as its still very well balanced but when it come to finding a slip for it I can only find monstrous things that look like they were made for a snow board or something! I know I could get one custom made but that would be pricey. What do you offer in the way of a light weight over the barrel mod? I know the lighter ones will never be as good as the bigger ones but I would rather have that than the extra weight to hump up the hills, it's quite steep on most of my stalking ground. dpt 0
Hi, The over barrels are 4inches forward of the muzzle, can be reduced to under 3inches if you remove two baffles. Weight under 9.5 oz, and price your looking at 200 pounds thats with our tax (gst) taken off. Thanks Quote Link to post

I thought vat was only 20%? Quote Link to post
