georgenottingham 7
I came across this last night on google play store. Just search gun chrono. The free one is enough to test you gun. I am yet to try this out but thought I would let you guys know about it. It works on the same principle as the accoustic test with laptop and mic's but all you need is a android phone or tablet. Please record you results here if you are to try it out. I'll record mine today or tomorrow. Atb George Quote Link to post
georgenottingham 7
If you have access to both an android and a chrono, it would be nive to see if the result are close enough to use as a good estimation. George Quote Link to post
milegajo 595
'Chrono Connect mobile lite' has good reviews. One said it was only 5fps off from a $200 chrono! Quote Link to post
georgenottingham 7
Cool. Be good to know how good this one is. Quote Link to post
georgenottingham 7
I tried this app today at only 20 feet. It wasn't register a hit noise. I'll try again when I have more room out side when snow has gone. Quote Link to post
jackinbox99 41
The reviews sound amazing. I`ll download this and give it a try when I get chance. Be interesting to compare it to my combro chrono. Quote Link to post

Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
how exactly does a mobile phone act as a chrono? does it measure how fast the pellet flies through your screen. i guess you could only do it once, then go buy a new phone lol 3 Quote Link to post
georgenottingham 7
Its just like the acoustic chrono with mic and laptop. It hears shot noise and hit noise, calculatiting the fps. Knowing the weight of the pellets will help calculate the ft/lbs. Its simple math in an app Quote Link to post
Craig Fosse 286
I have use it on my android to great effect , however I have an I phone now and they are apparently in the testing phase, I hope it comes out soon Quote Link to post
