pinguu 169
I love bulls and saluki but would never compare them. They both are as good as the hand that trains them and are both bred for different jobs! 1 Quote Link to post
burnie69 376
As j.dog said dogs for jobs.Couldn't even compare em and yes i've had both crosses to a good standard 1 Quote Link to post
*The*Field*Marshall* 674
No disrespect to the thread starter, but this topic shouldn't have 20+ replies! As has been mentioned "different dogs for different jobs!" Similar to saying what's better, a Rally or Formula One Car? Non comparable. ATB 4 Quote Link to post

johnharris 177
I've only ever had saluki crosses but I've seen some good bull crosses run. I think its about the individual dog Quote Link to post
johnharris 177
Also I don't see anything wrong with the topic. Some people like saluki some prefer bull surely we can discuss without arguing or is this impossible on THL 1 Quote Link to post
hubbs 178
Well said field marshall Quote Link to post
Maximus Ferret 2,063
Which sportsman is best - a footballer or a rugby player? Quote Link to post
*The*Field*Marshall* 674
Discuss without arguing on THL ? Impossible ! No you're quite right John and I should say I have seen a 3/4 Greyhound/Bull that would've been more than a match for some of it's Saluki/Grey counterparts. . But no doubt an exception rather than the rule. hubbs, is that a Black and Tan EPBT ? Proud looking dog. Maximus, rugby player definitely! :-D YIS 1 Quote Link to post
Greenseed 50
do people still actualy breed saluki's to greyhounds ?? i dont really see the point when there's enough generation line bred coursing dogs out there without having to start with f1's or am i missing something and folks call coursing dog's saluki/greyhound's ?? 2 Quote Link to post
fitchet 788
I own both and if i could only take one out with me round here it would be a good bull/ greyhound over a saluki/greyhound any day. But as already said they are tottally different dogs with tottally different styles. Atb Quote Link to post
