pmatty77 26
Update I decided to get a shock collar for me patt and see how that went,am pretty shocked myself really, the collar has a bleep that you press when they are doing what you want (i dont bother with that just give him verbal praise),a vibration and a small shock(it's i would say less powerful than a static shock,i have put my fingers on it a few times and it certainly doesn't hurt the dog),i would say the shock just breaks their train of thought so that you can reinforce what you want them to do. Really surprised, i have only tried two commands"leave" and "back",it's early days but massive improvement a dog actually got within 30 yards and he didnt try to rip it's throat out, hardly need the shock button just the vibrate and he is much more relaxed and under control then he gets plenty of praise and a treat. I will probably be back on next week saying i let him off the lead and he murdered some yorkie!! Quote Link to post
Bootsha 1,306
take your foot out of your shoe and sock, stick your big toe in the ground and see if you get a different effect when you press it again. Quote Link to post
pmatty77 26
Yer will give it a try but like i said only using it on vibrate....so no shock to dog.....prob better than shooting him or using a lead pipe as some have suggested Quote Link to post
