BazB 37
hi ive got a s410, had it for years but ive not used it for over a year now. so i got it out gave it a clean up and polish. oiled the mechanism, checked the pressure was ok and tried to fire off a pellet and it wouldnt fire, no discharge at all just a click. has anybody got any ideas as to what may be up with it? im hoping it'll be an easy fix but if it comes to it i'll take it to a gunsmith if i must Quote Link to post
Tron 173
Hiya bud, believe me I have worked on dozens of the AA 400/410 range rifles and have come across the same problem you are experiencing Some of the earlier hammers was lubricated with a grease that seemed to act like glue when not used for some time, If you dont feel confident to remove the magazine assembley(Only 3 screws) plus the 6 screws holding the complete breech assembly and barrel then take it to your nearest gunshop. BazB 37
cheers. ive never taken it that far apart before but i did it no problem, my sight will be out now but i'll get em zero'd again soon enough. the hammer that hits the gas chamber (not sure of names) was rusty i give it a good spray with my gun lub left it for 5mins then cocked it with a screw driver and fired it off a couple times. put it back together and its working fine now Baz 1 Quote Link to post
