TimS 49
Hi All, Spotted these footprints this morning and I didn't recognise what they were. Somewhat unusual as the path was very short. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks. Quote Link to post

Phantom 631
I'd have to agree, the cloved hoof suggests a small Dear of sorts, Muntjack I think, but always open to correction. Tony 1 Quote Link to post
Grayling 56
It looks like some sort of Deer foot print to me. Hard to tell which though. Quote Link to post

bunny tickler 876
if they appeared then disappeared its obviously a bird landing hopping (like a jay or maggie ) then takeing off again ?? Quote Link to post
TimS 49
this one has got me puzzled. The shape and size are similar to muntjac, but the spacing is not. Too close together and as bunny tickler says, they stop suddenly as it it were a bird, but the prints are like no bird print I have ever seen. Also look at the depth. Too heavy to be a bird. bunny tickler 876
it can only be a bird really look how the tracks stop they dont double back on them selves or the bird has landed then hopped forward the photo dosent show how far they went ,i think the feet are in a hopping position it would be interesting to see the end of the tracks sometimes the wings leave marks in the snow as they take off ? 1 Quote Link to post
