Pup Wont Drink.

I have a jack russel that doesnt seem to drink a lot of fluid iv tried powdered puppy milk and biscuits but shes not bothered. She eats rice pudding meat and dry biscuits, does anyone have an idea how to get some fuid down her? Thanks.

Try her on some cows milk or goats milk

Isure shes fine its only that I havnt seen her take one drink. Il just try keep her on soaked biscuits that must be enough

If eyes are clear and nose is wet i wouldn't worry especially if its eating

I had a terrier that didnt drink a lot but when he wanted to he did , ate well , used to keep a check on nose and eyes and never had a problem. If shes having soaked biscuits then that may well be ok for her for now.

Put your fingers in the water bowl splash fingers in the bowl a bit the pups curiosity will get the better of it it will then lick the water of ya fingers near the bowl worked for me on very young pups they get the gist of were the water bowl is and what's in it

im sure if its thirsty it will drink unless its got a problem we dont know about but i had a pup years ago seemed a bit dehydrated put a spoon honey into a cup warm water then pour that into the water bowl,lapped it up
