ferg81 0 Posted January 19, 2013 Report Share Posted January 19, 2013 Hi all my very good friend has said he would possibly sell me his bsa superten if we can agree on a deal which is fair for us both,it is a mk3 I believe with shrouded barrel and around 3 years old,its in absolute mint condition and only had about a tin of pellets through it,which I know for a fact,its gun without scope and comes with bag and pellets and cleaning kit and some other bits,I dont mind payin top end for a serviced and cared for gun(when I handled it he was hovering round tellin me what this does and what to do with that etc)what do you think its worth? Moley im lookin at you as i know you have more than one,but anyone who has bought/sold one id like an idea,like I say I dont mind payin but want the deal to be fair for us both so please help if you can,if I cant come to an agreement he has a mint aa s400 which i also have my eye on!! Ps I really dont mind payin what its worth so please be brutally honest in its value,he thinks its worth a good wedge cus they no longer make them and if im honest I think Hes probably right as the r10 is not better,sorry if you disagree and bring on the insults but I stand by my statement......... ferg81 0 Posted January 19, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 19, 2013 I was sayin 400 he wants more like 5 I don't mind payin as ill keep it forever so if I stick at 4 and eventually may need to go to 450 I would be about right do you think,I will still let him use it and when I said mint I seriously mean like off the shelf or out the factory its that clean,I don't really need it in all honesty but would like it becase i can! porkybella 284 Posted January 19, 2013 Report Share Posted January 19, 2013 I looked at one in a gun shop other week walnut stock mk3 shrouded barrell with a mtc viper scope on 500 i tried doing a deal with my ultra he just wanted too much id say 400-450 but then again look on gunstar ive seen em go as cheap as 325 Quote Link to post

On problem with them is that the reg chamber can fill with air reducing the power of the rifle, it will still be consistant, but the power will be around 8ft/lb at worst. If their expensive , it generally means they've been looked after and serviced , if your looking at them for about £325 , the chances are your going to have to spend on it . Quote Link to post
