JohnGalway 1,043
Too many great Westerns for me to be listing off. "Fill your hands you son-ov-a-bitch" being one good quote. But, Rio Bravo has to be the most enjoyable for me. The "Good guy" Western's can't be beat IMO. Fuckit, I wanna get me a horse now And anything with Walter Brennan in it is OK by me
pip1968 2,490
it took me over a YEEEAAAAAARRRRR to watch all them westerns
Bosun11 537
The Searchers... That end scene, where he walks out, Wayne 'borrowed' from his favorite 'silent' cowboy as a kid... The Shootist... Wayne was dying with the same cancer as JB Books who he was playing on screen... Red River... Epic! Rio Bravo... How good is Dino..!! The Man Who Shot Liberty Vallance... Wow!! She Wore a Yellow Ribbon... True Grit...Wow!! Hondo... One of his least known films, his dog (named Dog!) was played by Lassie (who was really Laddie!) The Big Country and How the West was Won... Are two classics Don't forget Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid Out of all modern westerns... Lonesome Dove... Simply brilliant..!!
